This faction exists within the Modern Fantasy character universe.
In brief, it is an isolated science facility in the arctic region of Polar Heart. Ran entirely by androids and their artificial intelligence leader, the overall goal of the facility is to map out and test every possible technology and study that pertains to science as a whole.
Its isolated nature, machine-led facility, and resources of magic conjured by the leader makes such efforts very achievable for possibly milleniums to come.
Established sometime in 1902, the facility would begin as merely the remains of a sunken jetliner that crashed within the Ventricle of Polar Heart. Through magical essences escaped from wizard corpses found within the jetliner, they would form MARGOT the self-described leader of the facility.
She would build herself up to a perfect form, create the basic foundations of the facility, and later craft each and every android employee to continue on her constructions and testing. As of the 2020s, the facility is packed densely with sections, wings, employees, and so on as it travels deep beneath the lake and Earth further below.
The facility operates on a system of security clearances (and layers) that desinate the roles and powers of each employed android within it.

The concept of Aperture Science is exciting, but what excites me even more is what if she had a full-range of humanlike android employees? That's why I created this faction, alongside adding the furry flair present in all my works.
Every android employee's design is inspired by two concepts from videogames I enjoyed. The holographic heads and faces come from the holograms present in Fallout: New Vegas' Sierra Madre DLC. Second, the mannequin-like bodies of the androids come from the scrapped mannequin concepts from Portal 2's development.
The security clearances naming conventions pull their inspiration from the Majestic 12 security clearances present in Deus Ex. In turn, those said clearances pull their own inspiration from the hierarchy of angels. That latter one is also relevant because MARGOT's design is partially inspired by angels.
The codenames are taken from parts of computers. I had to really do a lot of research to see what I personally thought fit each layer's role within the facility best! Even if you may disagree with the associations, I'm still keeping them as is as they're correct to ME.
The uniform color choices (those brown / beige shades) were chosen specifically to make the neon-colored hologram heads and faces stand out even better.
Much like the twelve gods from my works, the androids themselves act very human despite their mechanical nature. This is done because I prefer robotic characters that are like that. Apologies, but the blank stoics that struggle to understand human concepts are pretty boring to me, so I don't put those kind of robo-folks in my works as result!
