Within the Modern Fantasy character universe, there exists a ton of secondary species that characters might have in addition to the animal they are. This page will list each known secondary species along with a simple description.
There are also at least three special species that exist in the sister universe, however those have unique cases that will be described below.
This page will be lengthy due to the listing of secondary species, good luck browsing!
Android: Your average android looks quite human, though with all the mechanical textures outside and machinery within. Born and raised the way they are, growing through cosmic means into all those funny stages of life.
Your non-average ones however.. There's whispers of a group in the arctic, sporting metallic bodies and holographic heads. Scientists, test subjects, guards, weapon makers, janitors, mechanics.. Probably just rumors, right?
Angel: There's three forms, starting with the average angel in the Trans in Barking universe. Those ones are notable for having unique back wings, a golden aura emenating from all around the back of their head, and golden shapes traveling along the curved edge of their pupils.
Second, we have Saints from that same universe. They sport golden halos above their heads, unique back wings, and smaller wings on their heels. As for their eyes, some individuals have no irises nor pupils, just sporting a white sclera sea. Others have normal eye designs, but with their irises being gold and a small gold (darker) shape around that pupil.
Lastly, angels make an appearance in the Modern Fantasy universe. These ones have unique and different colored auras behind their heads, unique wings on their backs, and special eyes. It's a variety for what styles those eyes can sport, the possibilities are endless!
Animatronic: As robotic as one can look, while treading the line of uncanny valley very carefully. These individuals were machines made for entertainment that somehow were given life one day by the gods. Their mouths always look like they're grinning, but they can adjust the shape of it carefully to showcase different emotions.
They eat, they speak, they travel all just like we do. Of course, there's only a small select few that grace our presence in this big world.
Berry: Fruity individuals, quite literally! Unlike the horny schenanigans that come with the expansion variety, those with the berry secondary species are NOT contagious. Course, they're still full of those juices if they wish to muster up their strength to cause trouble. Just flicking a switch within really..
Past that, they'll rock a full body single hue that relates to the fruit their juices are based upon. Relevant, is that EVERY vampire is also a berry critter, no exceptions.
Candy: Colorful types, with bodies sweeter than buckets of sugar! Each part of their body sports a different color, along with a shared white and translucent pattern on top of that.
Sharp fangs, sporting colorful hues.. Eyes that have white pupils, dark grey irises, and oh-so colorful sclera surrounding the two.. Details huh? Past that, they've got candied horns.
Clone: There's very few clones in existence, and the only thing notable about them is they share some visual characteristics with their base / parent they're based upon.
They grow up just the same as us, and will form their own personalities and life paths. No such thing as a clone that looks and acts the exact same as their base!
Cyborg: These folks are special for having technology interwoven into (or straight up replacing) parts of their natural bodies. Some examples include those that have replaced their entire faces with metallic gas-mask styled ones with digital eyes.
They can still eat and breath just fine, though how is a mystery only the gods can solve. Other cyborgs might have just about their entire body below their head replaced with machinery. Not a born species, but rather a created one later in life due to one's decisions and circumstances.
Demon: Existing within both universes, though more commonly found in the more magical of the two. These folks have special eyes of varying designs, horns, and fangs. Past that they're just folks like you and me, with a little bit of Hell's flair.
Digital: Curious types, with certain ones existing in our physical worlds free from the digital ones. They sport polygonal shapes on their bodies.
Past that? Some may only have one body color, other's might have quite fragmented body types. Special just like us, eh?
Ghost: Spooky individuals, long-since dead from their prior days. It's unknown why these types haven't passed on, though it IS possible to help them reach the afterlife still.
Of course, not every ghost wants to leave this funky world anytime soon.
Gingerbread Cookie: There's only one known individual, and oh baby he's sweeter than can be.
A body made of gingerbread, it only has that one chocolate-brown color with white, frosting-like trim within each of those shapes. How does that work in a three-dimensional sense? Oh it just works, don't worry about it.
Living Outfit: Only one known individual currently satisfies this, with whispers of a bird-like plague doctor outfit walking amongst us.. For those in the know, this individual IS basically the outfit, somehow still living and enjoying life's pleasures despite not having a 'human' body.
One can assume these living outfits of folks are created, though it's anyones guess as to how or for what reason.
Pear-Shaped: Quite large characters, both in height and weight. These ones are special though due to their pear-shaped bottoms, leading them to have a quite rounded and bottom-heavy body. You know, like the fruit that gives them their namesake!
Permablimp: Those that are inflated for the whole rest of their life! Large, spherical, and full of tons of air that ain't going elsewhere. Oh the gods, toying with our lives in the most interesting of ways..
Unlike permablobs, they're definitely mobile through rolling about. Provided there's room to do so, of course. Outside of that, some care for themselves with magic, and others have caretakers to help them.
Permablob: Individuals that are beyond massive and equally immobile, as per the will of the goddess known as Her Divine. Some permablob folks can care for themselves through magic, while others have caretakers to help them through their day-to-day life.
No health problems here due to godly intervention, and in addition they're not losing that weight anytime soon!
Pinata: Folks that look just like the party pieces you hit wi- Well, probably best we don't talk about THOSE kinds of pinatas much further..
Alongside their flaky kinds of bodies, their eyes generally sport colorful neon voids and their mouths are black voids with white tongues. Don't be confused by the details, they're lovely folks just like you and me!
Plushy: Characters that are essentially walking and talking stuffed animal people. Feature either a sleek design like a sock puppet, stitching like a homemade stuffed animal, or patches like a repaired plushy.
Other notable details is they may have button eyes, noses, both, or even neither! And yes they're full of stuffing, with all the human parts somewhere only the gods know.
Pooltoy: Squeaky individuals, made of rubber and always shiny. Despite the rigid material, they're able to move their eyes, mouths, and so forth just fine. Full of nothing but air, but don't fret! It's impossible for them to deflate UNLESS they're temporarily bigger than normal.
In that case, it's possible to pop open those valves on their tummies and bring 'em back to normal. Much like plushies and others, who knows where all those human organs are. Lastly, for some cosmic reason any clothes they put on magically become rubbery, squeaky and shiny too.
Slime: Folks that are quite literally made of slime, whether it's their body, its parts such as the ears and nose, and even their hairstyles! Thankfully, don't expect a slime person to go gunking up and dirtying anything in this lifetime. How's that? Ask the gods, only they control the logic behind that one.
Aside from that, slime folks really in control of their bodies can shapeshift them into makeshift physical weapons if needed.
Undead: Within the Trans in Barking universe, these are the types that run the otherworldly business known as the Bureau. They sport half a body of flesh (gold, black, and white colors) and half a body of skeletal bone (even if said creature shouldn't logically have one). They are always genderless, with no exceptions.
Within the Modern Fantasy universe, these are quite rare individuals that stay out of public view. The few that have been seen have pale fur and flesh interwoven with stitches. Any openings in these stitching reveal a bright neon fleshy glow. Eyes never open, unless the moment gets beyond tense..
Vampire: Unlike what you've been told, the vampires within this universe are fully vegans! Meat? Blood? Gross, they much prefer the alternatives. Especially when it comes to berries and other fruits. They possess powers of shadow manipulation on themselves and berry-focused expansion on their victims. Eyes are neat, what with the pupil being a black cross traveling along the whole eye. Irises? None. Sclera? Colorful hues, matching the fruit within them.
The vampire's drawback comes during the sun, where they'll be powerless and exhausted. Not gonna burst into flames though, they'll just have a crummy time going out in the sunshine at most.
Werewolf: Quite rare beings, with only one known individual in existence qualifying as one. Strong and still fully in control of their non-beastly minds. A recipe for intense bronze and hearty brains, if we're not careful.
And what's even more scary? They don't need a full moon to reach their beastly potential, as every single night will satisfy just the same.
