The first EP released by Saint Nowhere. A collection of improvised, beginner tracks made (at the time of writing) as my first time attempts in making music.
Mostly me fiddling around trying to learn how FL Studio's basic plugins and tools work. Was a very fun process with abstract results!

Every track on this EP was made in order, just like the tracklist. Purely just wanted to see what I could make in terms of music in general.
The track Shifts was a special case, as I kept worrying that it didn't fit the project's overall style. At one point I considered saving it for a future release, and another time I thought maybe I'd make it a secret bonus track. But nah, it's cemented it's place on the official tracklist just like the others.
The cover art showcases my music persona, Saint Nowhere, doing a hand shadow of a bull. In the background, you can see a shattered wall that's similiar in appearance to cracked ice. Together I felt this combination really brought forth the idea of confusion, and that I (Saint Nowhere in this case) was along for the ride no matter what.
There's a small chance I'll remix the track Shifts someday, adding in vocals during the instrument-only parts.
This will be my only release that utilizes the text-to-speech plugins. They're fun, but also a pain in the ass to get set up right. Besides that, I don't want them to be a key factor of my music going forward.
Every song title follows the theming of one word and a plural noun. This was just done to keep the track titles cohesive, even if the content within was different from one another.
